Join the effort to put brand new school supplies in the hands of local students at the most economically-disadvantaged schools in our community.

How It Works

Your Tools for Schools sponsorship will meet the back-to-school supply needs of every student at a participating school. The program looks a little different this year, with pre-packed individual student kits provided to each school. Backpacks will be available as needed. For many of the children, these may be the only new items that they receive all year. $20 provides brand new back-to-school supplies for a low-income student.

Employee Engagement

Typically, employees of sponsoring businesses and organizations join their school’s community to celebrate the start of the new school year, helping teachers and parents to sort and pack supplies. This year, school is even more important but back-to-school activities won’t include any in-person volunteers. Because engagement is important to your staff (100% of surveyed participants reported that they are proud of their company for sponsoring this program) and to the children who participate in the program, we’re going virtual and remote, with shared notes, banners, video or other methods appropriate for you and the school.
