Help collect school supplies with the KGW School Supply Drive & Schoolhouse Supplies
Collect supplies from August 2 - September 1
Each year, over 100 caring organizations joined the KGW School Supply Drive as Community Collection Sites. Together, we helped thousands of local kids and teens receive the school supplies they need.
This year the need is greater - a pandemic, economic challenges, and wildfires has created pressure on many teachers and families.
Each year your continued assistance provides hope for local families. Here’s what one teacher had to say:
"Access to free supplies has hugely helped reduce the amount of my personal budget for spending on classroom supplies. It has allowed me to offer more variation and engaging, hands-on lessons. The free supplies have been a highlight and motivator for students to stay engaged in their learning, especially while learning at home. Free supplies for all students in my class also promotes equity for students when they know that everyone gets the same supplies."
